The Alaverdi Hub team met for a brainstorming and ideas development session with Garo Armen, the Chairman of the Children of Armenia Fund, and Glorianna Davenport, Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Media Lab in order to exchange ideas about the potential evolution of the Alaverdi Hub project. It was determined that questions of Environmental Remediation and Artisanal Production were opportunties, specific to Alaverdi, that could motivate a more financially sustainable initiative.
The members present were also given a behind the scenes look into the workings of Tidmarsh Farms; once a cranberry production which is now being restored to its original wild state. This experience afforded the Alaverdi Hub team an opportunity to consider the way in which technology can impact and augment an experience of the natural landscape.
